This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday to Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 09:00am – 05:30pm MST.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for daily / weekly / monthly team performance
  • Ensures team members’ performance goals are met, such as quality adherence and service levels
  • Manages schedules, adherence and utilizes reporting to monitor
  • Coordinates work activities with other supervisors
  • Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and sound business judgment
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan
  • Provides coaching and feedback to team members by performing call audits, weekly team meetings, and monthly one on one's
  • Motivates and inspires team members
  • Conducts annual performance reviews for team members
  • Identifies solutions to non - standard requests and problems
  • Effectively communicates change and leads employees through change
  • Serves as a resource for others with less experience
  • Handles Human Resource processes and issues, including time cards and corrective action process
  • Manages recruitment and termination procedures
  • Maintains procedures
  • Remains optimistic, upbeat, and enthusiastic even in times of challenge and constant change

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience working as a supervisor or in a Team Lead capacity
  • 1+ years of Healthcare/ insurance experience and/or Social work/community outreach/advocacy experience
  • 1+ years of experience working with Optum At Home program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer applications and apply their use
  • Medicaid and / or Medicare experience
  • Must have capability to work from home

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)
  • Previous experience as a telecommuter
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask is essential
  • Ability to learn and apply skills quickly

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $54,400 - $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada / New York City residents is $60,000 - $106,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
